«Vracht» by Max Carlo Kohal, produced by Dynamic Frame and distributed by Dschoint Ventschr Distribution, has been awarded the Zurich Film Award 2025 for Best Documentary Film and also received awards for cinematography (Lukas Gut) and music composition (Mirjam Skal).
As part of the Zurich Film Award 2025, the film will be shown twice in cinemas:
- Saturday, 25 October, 12:00 in Zurich at Xenix
- Wednesday, 29 October, 17:00 in Winterthur at Cameo

An impressive debut that stands out as a total work of art and reveals a promising talent. The long-term observation follows a stringent and organic dramaturgy, succeeding in conveying a respectful intimacy that can only be achieved through particularly careful and precise detail work over many years. A seemingly simple inland waterway journey tells the story of a forgotten craft that is essential to the functioning of our economy and conveys the dreams and hopes of aspiring cargo skippers.
