SAMIR

Producer, Author, Director

Born in 1955 in Baghdad, Iraq. After training as a cameraman, he began to realise his own films, which drew attention at various festivals with their innovative character. Various series and television films were also produced for German TV broadcasters under his direction. His list of works now encompasses more than 40 realised films. As a producer, Samir is responsible at Dschoint Ventschr for numerous feature and documentary film projects.

WERNER SCHWEIZER

Producer, Author, Director

Born in 1955 in Lucerne. Studied sociology, public relations and European folk literature. Cofounder of the media cooperative Videoladen (1977) and the production company Dschoint Ventschr Filmproduktion AG. Graduate of the EAVE producers advanced training programme, 1990. Mainly active as author/director and producer of documentary films.

KARIN KOCH

Producer

Karin Koch was responsible for the production management of film and video productions of the Videoladen in Zurich. In 1994 she took over Dschoint Ventschr Filmproduktion together with Samir and Werner Schweizer. Since then she has continued her training consistently to become a producer and is responsible for numerous short, documentary and feature film projects as the lead producer.

JUDITH LICHTNECKERT

Producer

Studied media studies, sociology and English in Basel.
She has been working in film production for over 20 years and has a wealth of experience in international cinema co-productions as well as in the production of series and television films. In 2013 she founded her own production company Emilia Productions. She joined the Dschoint Ventschr team with her skills in April 2025.

LEVIN VIETH

Producer

Born near Zurich in 1994. Initially active in the independent theatre scene. This was followed by a degree in German and film studies, accompanied by his first collectively produced short films and a transfer to the Zurich University of the Arts. 2023 Graduated with a Master's degree in Film with a specialisation in Creative Producing and employed as a producer at Dschoint Ventschr.

SOPHIE STIRNEMANN

Production Assistant

Born in Affoltern a.A. in 1993. During her studies in Film Studies and Art History at the University of Zurich, she worked as a box office assistant and operator in a cinema. After graduating, she completed an internship in film handling at the Fantoche animation film festival and a production internship at Dschoint Ventschr Filmproduktion. She has been employed as a production assistant at Dschoint Ventschr since 2022.

BERNADETTE LATAL

Head of Administration

Marketing and communications specialist with over 20 years of experience in the B2B environment, particularly in the telecommunications and ICT industry. After a conscious career change, she ventured into the film industry. Since 2024, she has been Head of Administration at Dschoint Ventschr Filmproduktion AG, where her responsibilities include accounting, administrative processes and human resources.
