CIVILIANS

Fifty-five year old Wolfgang is sent to a military camp as a "Civilian on the battlefield" by the employment office. His new job is to support soldiers in their maneuvers. There he meets other social losers who are supposed to simulate village life as the war approaches. The civilians rebel against the increasingly authoritarian conditions and their commanders. What began as a game soon takes a serious turn.
